Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices; educational institutions, youth organisations, businesses, local/ regional authorities and civil society organizations between education, training and youth activities in the context of institutional partnerships (partnerships) provides the opportunity for the creation of. Through these partnerships, it is aimed to develop innovative applications, ensure creativity, entrepreneurship and employability.
Projects to be realized in cooperation by establishing partnerships can be classified as country-centered and centralized activities:
- Country-based activities are projects managed by the national agency in the applicant's country.
- The central activities are the projects for which applications are made to the Executive Agency of the European Commission located in Brussels.
Among the following activities, “Strategic Partnerships“ are country-based; ”Sectoral Skills Partnerships“ and ”Knowledge Partnerships" are central activities. Main Action 2: We can summarize these 3 types of projects under the heading of Cooperation for Innovation and Exchange of Good Practices as follows:
1- Strategic Partnerships
Project applications within the scope of strategic partnerships in local and national agencies, corporate, local/regional, national or international level of innovative practices in the development, transfer and/or application for purposes of strategic cooperation and partnership program between the institutions of the member countries supported projects.
These projects have taken part in the Erasmus+ Program in order to carry out the following main activities:
- Schools, local/regional school administration, teacher training institutions and departments, other types of institutions in different countries to develop and transfer innovative practices and model to provide,
- To promote quality and innovation in higher education higher education institutions with the main stakeholders (institutions, research institutions, social partners, local/regional authorities, Education and the youth sector perform other stronger cooperation between,
- To support EU studies and developments in the field of higher education policies in order to create a systematic impact at a higher level,
- Deconstructing transnational collaborations between vocational education and training providers and local/regional business world institutions,
- To ensure that vocational education systems are able to respond to the needs of the sector-specific job market at a high level and to contribute to the increasing economic competitive environments in the relevant sectors,
- To provide quality educational opportunities for adults and to meet the learning demands of adult education providers in a strong way,
- To contribute to the development of national policies on adult education and training and dialogue between EU countries Decisively,
- To promote cooperation and exchanges in the field of youth between the countries open to the program and other countries from different parts of the world (Decp, Latin America, Asia, Industrialized countries,
- To develop Youth Policy Cooperation at the EU level and to create the EU Youth Strategy and to promote systematic communication.
2- Sectoral Skill Partnerships
Sectoral Skill Partnerships within the scope of central activities are international systems that aim to increase the responsiveness of vocational education systems to the sectoral skill needs of the labor market in a particular economic sector and to new skill demands related to one or more vocational fields. The sectors considered suitable within the scope of this activity are as follows:
- Sectors that make up the European Sectoral Skills Councils, such as textiles, clothing, leather and trade,
- Sectors where there are skill discrepancies such as Advanced manufacturing, Information and Communication Technologies, Eco-innovation (environmental technologies) and where the European Commission intervenes with its current policies,
- Cultural and creative industries
At least 9 participating organizations from at least 3 program countries, two of which are EU members, must take part in Sectoral Skills Partnerships. The duration of the projects can vary between 2-3 years. Dec.

3- Knowledge Partnerships
Knowledge Partnerships, which are included in the scope of central activities, are international, structured and result-oriented projects that aim to build a bridge between higher education and the business world. Dec. It is aimed to strengthen Europe's innovation capacity by encouraging innovation in higher education, the business world and the wider socio-economic environment through Knowledge Partnerships. The 3 main features of the activity are:
- Innovation in higher education (innovation),
- University- business sustainability,
- Strengthening the impact during and after the project
Participating institutions of Information Partnerships can be any official or private organization in the program country or partner country. At least 6 organizations from 3 different program countries should take part in Information Partnerships. There must be at least 2 higher education institutions and at least 2 enterprises in the partnership. The duration of the projects can vary between 2-3 years. Dec.
