Staff Mobility for Staff Training (STT)

Staff training mobility is a field of activity that allows any staff employed in an ECHE-holding higher education institution in Turkey to receive training in one of the program countries. Within the scope of this activity, it is possible for the person to receive various trainings (such as on-the-job trainings, observation processes) in order to improve their skills in the subjects related to their current job.

Erasmus+ Staff Training Mobility

If you are interested in Training Mobility at Erciyes University then the following information should help you in applying for an exchange with us. Prospective administrative visitors are recommended to contact Erasmus Office (erasmus.erciyes.edu.tr) and inform them about your travel plans at least 2 months prior to the visit. Erasmus Office refer you to related departments/centers.        

  • Please plan your visit with related departments that best suits the purpose of your visit. Please see the list of the administrative departments/centers
  • For Training program (ST), there is no need for an Erasmus+ agreement between ERU and your home institution; however, the home university must have an Erasmus University Charter. 
  • The Departments/Centers will consider how the visit fits with their plan of work schedule
  • Letter of invitation will be issued by the related department that would like to host you.
  • In order to receive a signed copy of your Training Mobility agreement, please get in touch with the related department via e-mail. 
  • Please email copy of your “Training Mobility Agreement” and send it to erasmus@erciyes.edu.tr or once you arrive, your first stop should be the Erasmus Office for a short meeting.
  • At the end of your mobility period, you will receive your Confirmation Letter by the related department.

  • The eligible candidate submits a letter of participation after seeing the announcement of his / her eligibility on the web page.
  • Information is obtained from the Erasmus Coordination Office about the contact information of the qualifying university, and then the program is created by making correspondence with the other institution.
  • After creating the program with the other institution, the candidate who is eligible prepares the Personnel Training Mobility Agreement, the Agreement prepared to the Erasmus Coordinator is delivered and the necessary signatures are completed by the Erasmus Specialist and forwarded to the relevant candidate. The eligible candidate contacts the other institution and completes the signatures of the other institution by e-mail and sends the signed copy of the agreement to the Erasmus Coordinator. (The learning agreement should be planned as at least 2 working days.)
  • After the education agreement is completed, the candidate who is eligible requests an Invitation Letter from the other institution and the invitation letter sent is forwarded to the Erasmus Coordinator.
  • After receiving the invitation letter, the candidate who is eligible receives an official assignment letter from the unit he is affiliated with, indicating that he will benefit from the education mobility and when he will be considered on leave.
  • After the assignment, the candidate who is eligible prepares the grant agreement by meeting with the Erasmus Expert.
  • After the grant contract is signed, the Strategy Development Department is instructed to transfer 80% of the deserved grant to the personnel account. (In order for the grant to be transferred to the account, the signed and sealed final version of the Staff Training Mobility Agreement must be submitted to the Erasmus Coordinator.)
  • Eligible candidates are required to submit the above documents to the Erasmus Coordinatorship at least 15 days before the start of the activity.

After the end of the Activity Period, the following documents must be submitted to the Erasmus Coordinator.

  • Certificate of participation; After the eligible candidate completes his / her mobility, he / she requests from the other institution before returning. It must be signed wet. (At least 2 days, 8 hours)
  • Airplane Boarding Passes
  • Photocopy of passport entry-exit page
  • Personnel Final Report (The EU Survey sent to the e-mail address of the personnel must be filled in.)
The relevant documents must be submitted to the Erasmus Coordinator within 15 days from the completion of the activity.
