Erasmus + Program Special Needs Support
Erasmus +, guidance and welcoming for students and staff participating in Erasmus + (hereinafter referred to as students and staff with physical, mental or health-related special conditions) who have physical, mental or health-related conditions that are unable to participate in the activities without additional grant support It places particular emphasis on contributing to physical access, pedagogical and technical support, and particularly additional costs. This is to ensure that you can take full advantage of the European Union Erasmus + mobility arrangements.
By signing the Higher Education Erasmus University Statement, all higher education institutions undertake to provide equal access and opportunities to participants from all circles. For this reason, students and staff with special physical, mental or health-related conditions can benefit from all the support services offered by the host institution to their local students and staff.
Additional grant
For your special access needs during your mobility, you can apply for the regular Erasmus + education, internship or staff mobility grant, in addition to the Erasmus + additional grant for students and staff with physical, mental or health-related special conditions. In order to apply for Erasmus + special needs support, please state your special needs and anticipated additional costs related to your physical, mental or health-related situation while preparing for your Erasmus + mobility period.
What Are Special Access Needs?
Areas that may be eligible to support for individual needs related to your Erasmus + mobility include, but are not limited to: appropriate accommodation, assistance for travel, medical attendance, support equipment, appropriate learning materials, companion, etc.
How to Apply?
Please send your request to the International Relations Office or the Erasmus Coordinator in your Faculty for assistance with the Erasmus + special needs support application form.
